MAEC-AECI Scholarships for African Citizens, Spain

Scholarship Description:The scholarships seek, first, support the training of specialists and skilled professionals and, secondly, the creation of scientists, both researchers and technologists, to strengthen academic and research institutions of the countries with which Spain maintains cooperative relations .To this end, in this call opens a new Institutional Grants Program (Chapter V), aimed at public universities and public research bodies of priority countries for Spanish cooperation.

Eligibility:
1.Do not have Spanish nationality and have no Residence Permit in Spain. Except for those applicants who have the card in Spain Student Residence (Student Card) and those who enjoy refugee status granted by the Kingdom of Spain, under Law 5 / 84, 26 March governing law Asylum and Refugee Status, as amended by Law 9 / 94 May 19.
2. Applicants with dual citizenship must choose which nationality they wish to complete the scholarship application form and, therefore, provide appropriate identification data to it. Conditions required and scholarship programs to which there is a choice shall be those corresponding to the nationality formalizing the request.
3. Grants for Chapters I, II, III and IV, you may request one scholarship per person per call.
4. To Chapter V Grants Institutional Grants may apply for a single call institutional scholarship, public universities and public research one of the participating countries Interuniversity Cooperation Program (ICP) which are also the AECI Group A Master Plan for Spanish Cooperation from 2009 to 1912 (see list of countries in Annex I), which may include up to a maximum of six candidates aspiring to the fellowship, to study the Official Postgraduate Programme in different subjects, at a university or public research organization in Spain.
5. There have been a recipient of any program Scholarships MAEC-AECI, of 6 or more months, or the Carolina Foundation, in the last three years.
6. Be in possession of national passport when entering the study center destination.
